After studying media studies and film production Nic Watkins decided he would combine his passion for skiing with film production and spend the summer creating an all British movie featuring the young talented skiers who, like him were chasing the winter down in New Zealand. After this trip Nic realised the increased need for British Freeskiing to be showcased and with Charles Perkins as a partner decided to start Run Jump Fly productions over the summer of 2005. These two friends then spent the Autumn increasing their knowledge of the British ski scene and the art of film production in order to prepare for the coming winter and their goal of creating their first official production ‘Ski city’. Over their first season in Verbier Switzerland the company grew and took on Nick Southwell as an assistant cameraman and marketing manager.

In one year the Company has changed from an idea to a well established name within the UK community and we hope it will continue to grow with the sport as it rises in popularity and notoriety throughout the world.
